Spirit Park is a regional park that includes baseball and softball fields, a playground, public art, and hike and bike trails.
The Hideout Playground
In the original concept of The Hideout, our park planning team wanted to create something that looked like it was built BY the kids, a fort or retreat hidden within the woods. This recreation of homemade and well-loved structures immerses players into the nature itself!
'Spirit of Play' public art
From its grand opening in 2018, Spirit Park celebrates the Spirit of Play in a variety of forms. From adult athletics to The Hideout Playground, wildlife identification signs and even a pollinator garden, each element throughout the park is intended to spark a different sense of natural spirit.
Adult athletics and tournaments
Spirit Park serves as one of the primary adult athletic league locations for Allen Parks and Recreation, as well as tournament locations during the off days. Softball, baseball and cricket leagues visit the park weekly. For more information on upcoming leagues, visit TeamSideline.com/Allen.
