Listen to Dr. James Blackshear, co-author of "Confederates and Comancheros Skullduggery and Double-Dealing in the Texas-NewMexico Borderlands." Set against the borderlands of Texas and New Mexico during the 1860s and 1870s, the book offers an in-depth analysis of Union-Confederate deceptiveness in the Comanche-Comanchero trade in stolen Texas livestock.
