Storybook Trail

What is the Storybook Trail?

This is a self-led activity in which pages of a children's storybook are placed in kiosks along the Storybook Trail located at the Stephen G. Terrell Recreation Center in partnership with The Allen Public Library. To participate in our Storybook Trail, begin at the first kiosk and continue to follow the numbered signs as you read along. We hope you enjoy this interactive book experience!

Where is the Storybook Trail located?

The Storybook Trail is located on a half mile paved trail located at the Stephen G. Terrell Community Park Trail.

Allen Public Library's StoryWalk

With the creation of the new Storybook Trail in partnership with Allen Parks and Recreation, the Allen Public Library will no longer be creating a StoryWalk at the Library. We appreciate everyone who walked our StoryWalk and provided us with comments and pictures. We look forward to seeing all of you enjoy the new Storybook Trail at the Stephen G. Terrell Recreation Center!

The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
