Learn to Skate
Take advantage of our Learn to Skate program at Allen Community Ice Rink! We offer classes from beginner to advanced for children and adults.
Each class includes a 30-minute session (25 minutes of instruction), a FREE skate rental the day of class, and FREE Open Skate credits to use during the semester.

Semesters and rates
Sign up for two or more classes in the same semester and receive a 20% multi-class discount. Participate with a family member to receive a 10% family discount.

Classes take place on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Classes for homeschool students are offered on Friday. Browse all classes below.

POLICIES FOR SKATERS
- Participants must be at least 3 years old at the start of the semester.
- Each skater will receive a special badge to wear to class and open skate sessions. The badge must be used to utilize the included open skate passes.
- Make-up classes are allowed within the timeframe of the enrolled semester.
- With completion of the semester, each skater will receive a Certificate of Achievement.
- If skaters need additional instruction to improve skills, contact the instructor to set up private lessons.
